Gleneagles Townhouse enjoys a prime location, just a short walk from Waverley Station and Princes Street Gardens, making it ideal for exploring Edinburgh. Guests appreciate the beautiful and elegant decor, particularly in The Spence restaurant, where afternoon tea is a highlight, featuring delicacies like smoked salmon croissants. Rooms are generally spacious, and some guests specifically enjoyed the super shower. However, a few guests have found the breakfast experience to be disappointing and not good value for money.

The staff were excellent and very attentive to detail. Ewan welcomed us warmly, showing us to our Town Room. The rooftop bar, Lamplighters, had an amazing atmosphere and great cocktails.
I booked dinner for 19:30, but received a text saying my table was booked for 17:30. It needed to be changed. Our main course arrived at 21:30. They charged £25 on my credit card without explanation.

i was quite annoyed that the bathroom amenities were in the bedroom, not the bathroom itself. it's a strange layout and not very functional when you're trying to get ready.
